Archives -  Created prior to the assemblage based artworks

After I drew a graphite drawing of my Mom and older brother in 1989 and exhibited it while a student at St. Augustine's College in Nassau, Bahamas, I considered myself an artist and hence started documenting my works in slides.  The works  in the Archives include Paintings, Drawings, Printmaking, and Pottery I did while studying Art at The College of The Bahamas, The Savannah College of Art & Design, and a few while at Georgia State University between 1991 and 2003.  I continued to paint on single wood and canvas panels up until 2003.  All of my painting are in oils up until the birth of my daughter, Iya, in 2000 when I switched to Acrylics
