Lillian Blades

Lillian Blades was born in 1973 in Nassau, Bahamas. She received a BFA in

Art from the Savannah College of Art and Design and an MFA from Georgia

State University. She also studied at the Skowhegan School of Painting and

Sculpture in Maine and Caversham in KwaZulu Natal South Africa. Her work has appeared in solo and group exhibitions

throughout the United States, The Bahamas, Trinidad, Germany, and south Africa. Her work

has been commissioned for Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport

and The East Atlanta Library and is in the collection of the Birmingham

Museum of Art and the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas.
